Moving from a Southwest Minneapolis single-family home to a downtown condominium can be a big change. However, a new location can also mean new opportunities. Opportunities for a change in style from traditional to modern as well as opportunities to re-examine how you live and occupy a home. Our clients took that leap.
Working in a condo can be difficult but this project was a complete transformation that tore down walls and re-organized the spaces. We took what was once a small, closed off, galley kitchen and by simply turning it ninety degrees and knocking down a wall it now is the center of a open and light filled home. The new spaces and natural materials provide a clean backdrop to highlight the homeowner’s extensive art collection and also add warmth to the entire space.
