This project breathed new life into a classic Tudor-style home, refreshing its exterior while preserving its timeless charm. The goal was to brighten and modernize the home's appearance, enhancing its curb appeal and functionality. We began by revitalizing the stucco exterior, giving it a brighter, cleaner look. The old asphalt shingle roof was replaced with a sleek, durable composite slate roof that complements the home's architectural style. A new front door with sidelights was installed, creating a welcoming entrance and allowing more natural light into the interior.
To further modernize the home, we updated all the exterior light fixtures, enhancing its overall aesthetic. The landscaping was redesigned to create a more inviting and cohesive outdoor space. All exterior millwork was repainted, providing a fresh, polished look. We also made subtle but impactful architectural changes. The window head casings were enlarged, and the Tudor-style trim bands at the bumped-out areas were expanded, accentuating the home's unique character. Additionally, a clipped hip roof was transformed into a gable, and decorative vents were added. These updates resulted in a stunning transformation, showcasing the home's classic Tudor style while incorporating modern elements for a fresh and inviting look.
